Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong invites you to this joint chamber`s luncheon:
Beyond Conventional Leadership:
“How do you shape up to lead in Asia?”
For better or for worse, globalization whilst undoubtedly creating new playing fields for businesses everywhere has also created bumps and troughs in a supposedly flattened world. To thrive, leaders will need to ditch conventional management wisdom and stop looking to the past for guidance on how to move forward in a rapidly changing and uncertain future. Yet, this gap in understanding provides a “leadership opportunity” and needs to be seized in order to clearly establish how and why doing things differently will help reshape the role of business in society and create a new prosperity.
Focus:
• What are the key leadership skills and attributes needed for managing in a globalized future?
• How to deal with different management perceptions and cross-cultural differences in traditional organizational structures?
• What is the “leadership opportunity”? How can leaders better prepare themselves?
• How can you gain trust from within your organization and peers, particularly when established beliefs, practices and norms need to be challenged?
