The Alfa Laval Group was originally founded in Sweden in 1883 by Gustaf De Laval. Now Alfa Laval has become a leading global provider of specialized products and engineered solutions. Our equipment, systems and services are dedicated to helping customers to optimize the performance of their processes. Time and time again. We help our customers to heat, cool, separate and transport products such as oil, water, chemicals, beverages, foodstuff, starch and pharmaceuticals. Our worldwide organization works closely with customers in almost 100 countries to help them stay ahead.

Alfa Laval products first entered the China market in the 1950s.Now Alfa Laval has been established in China for over 30 years with more than 2700 employees. They are working in one of our 10 sales offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Dalian, Shenyang, Wuhan, Xian, Urimqi or 7 services centers in Jiangyin, Kunshan, Zhoushan, Chengdu, Hongkong, Shenzhen and Shenyang. A large and increasing number of our employees work as part of our global supply network. Besides sales and service activities, we have an engineering and supply site, an R&D center, a distribution centre and four major manufacturing establishments in Kunshan, Jiangyin and Qindao. In addition to that, we have more than 200 authorized distributors covering the whole of China.

Alfa Laval’s customers in China are found in various industries such as energy, environment, food technology, marine and diesel, Process Industries and biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industries, to mention a few. Until Now Alfa Laval’s over 6,000 separators, 50,000 plate heat exchangers, 300,000 brazed heat exchangers, and millions of pieces of fittings, valves, and pumps have been delivered in China.
