Comprising Hong Kong Science Park, InnoCentre and Industrial Estates, Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) provides a quality range of facilities and services to support industries and enterprises to grow as they design, develop and manufacture innovative products.
Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), a statutory body since 2001, is dedicated to transforming Hong Kong into the regional hub for innovation and technology development.
A hub that will diversify and grow the city’s economy, expand employment opportunities across a multitude of industries, raise Hong Kong’s status as a global powerhouse to a new level, foster talent and interest in STEM as well as offer them highly-sought-after tech careers, and most importantly, help create a sustainable world and brighter future for the younger generation.
HKSTP has been carefully building a tech-based ecosystem in selected clusters (biomedical technology, electronics, green technology, ICT, and materials & precision engineering) and technology platforms (smart city, robotics, and healthy ageing) that connects stakeholders, nurtures talent, facilitates collaboration, and drives innovation to commercialisation. And through the years, even though this ecosystem has evolved, we’ve held our course and built a strong base of innovators and a full range of tech companies that are among the world’s best.
Currently, more than 600 technology companies and approximately 13,000 technology talents call Hong Kong Science Park home. Our incubation programmes are constantly filled to capacity and numerous startups and their products have reached the world stage with our help, driving tech innovation and the city’s economy.
HKSTP nurtures and helps the science and technology companies under its care to accelerate their growth, innovate and pioneer ground-breaking ideas, by offering them both state-of-the-art facilities as well as value-added services. These range from R&D offices, infrastructure, market-led laboratories, and technical centres with professional support services.
