Over 70 years ago in Sweden, Nils-Erik Eklund got an idea and textile waste became rag rugs and BOLON was born. Today, his granddaughters Annica and Marie keep the spirit alive. They have been on a mission – to make BOLON a design-led innovator and fuse conservative, traditional flooring with the world of fashion. They’ve collaborated with world-renowned designers and architects as well as worked with international brands to achieve their goal. A goal they have achieved spectacularly.
