VLM Asia Ltd is a joint venture company in Hong Kong between VLM Italy and Frinab Sweden and local partners.  VLM Asia Ltd. owns a manufacturing company VLM Electric DongGuang Ltd in China.  We produce, market and sell products on the Chinese market to companies who sell lighting products to primarily European and American end users.  The products include all types of lamp holders in thermal plastics and cord sets with switches.  We are also able to offer a high quality LED programs from VLM in Italy.

VLM Asia has a license both for domestic sales with VAT and for direct export. The major advantage with this license is that we are able to offer locally produced products with European quality and technology which certainly are two of the utmost importance factors in the global marketplace today.  Knowledge of safety regulations and safety concerns are also crucial on the Chinese market.

VLM has been established in China since the beginning of the nineties, whereas Frinab was established there in the beginning of 2000. The goal is to establish a first class production and sales organization and consequently become one of the most important brands on the Chinese market. In order to pursue this objective we have instituted European production techniques and technologies throughout all of our production lines, mainly implying full automation, installed and maintained by European engineers. The production standard is now on the same level in many lines as it is in our factories in Europe.

Finally, today we comply over 300 employees in China.  The administrative office is located in Hong Kong.
