Dear Members and Friends of SwedCham HK,
Another week has started with many of us still working from home, at least a few days a week.
Most likely you keep yourselves updated regarding the Novel Coronavirus situation through various channels, and as in previous Newsletters you will find useful links below.
On February 17, the Swedish Foreign Ministry updated its travel advisory statement regarding China. The advice is now to avoid non-essential travel to Mainland China. For Hubei Province, all travel is to be avoided. The Foreign Ministry does not advise against travel to Hong Kong (but recommends travelers to follow developments closely). More info in Swedish here:
The HK government circulates an unofficial list of current travel advisories and airline/cruise announcements regarding HK/China. New developments are marked in red for easy reference.
Please find the latest one here.
If you would like to receive this list when it is updated, please let us know.
Last Friday we hosted our first webinar on the topic of the virus. It went very well and we therefore plan to continue with online events until the situation starts normalizing again. BUT, we need your ideas and input! We look forward to hearing from you with suggested topics, speakers etc. We will do our best to organize further webinars on a regular basis. Exciting times!
