Last year Hong Kong removed its restrictions on inbound travel, marking the end of almost three years of pandemic related travel restrictions. At the Chamber we see that businesses are once again turning their attention to Hong Kong.

What better time to introduce a small practical business guide - Doing Business in Hong Kong - exploring how to proceed and what to think about when entering the Hong Kong market. The Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (SwedCham), together with its members, want to give you an overview of some of the important aspects of doing business in Hong Kong. We will walk you through the ABC of setting up a business here, the process of relocating, the legal system and managing corporate risk among other things.

All the content in this guide has been provided by SwedCham's members and partners, bringing expertise, knowledge, and experience from different sectors. The topics covered have been selected according to the perceived relevance and importance for someone interested in doing business in Hong Kong. This simple business guide is by no means complete - it is a work in progress - more categories will be added to better help steer you in your company’s Hong Kong journey.

We would like to give our special thanks and appreciation to everyone that contributed to this guide!
