Green Transition - Calling for Sustainable Development to be Given Top Priority in Hong Kong
The HKSAR Government has introduced new initiatives to advance Hong Kong’s green transition and sustainability. Green development remains a key focus in the CE’s policy address, the updated climate action plan, and the reorganization of the Environment and Ecology Bureau. The Sustainability Committee of SwedCham supports these efforts and urges stronger implementation.
Green Recovery - Calling for a Green Dimension to Drive Sustainable Growth in Hong Kong
In response to COVID-19’s economic impact, the Hong Kong SAR Government provided HKD 311.5 billion in relief measures across various sectors. The Sustainability Committee of SwedCham acknowledged these efforts but urged the Government to leverage the recovery to drive sustainability and strengthen Hong Kong’s resilience.
