On January 27 the Hong Kong Government announced that the compulsory quarantine is to be shortened for inbound travellers.

As a result of the shorter incubation of the Omicron variant, the HK Government announced that the compulsory quarantine for inbound travellers will be shortened to 14 days, starting from February 5.
