On Wednesday, January 5, 2022, Hong Kong's government presented new social distancing measures in order to combat the current Covid-19 outbreak. The new rules are planned to stay in place for 14 days, to begin with.

The new rules mean that social gatherings in public places will be limited, including restaurants closing at 6 pm. More so, gyms, museums, themes parks, bars etc will be completely closed during the whole period.

Events hosted by the Chamber during this period will be adjusted to align with the regulations.
