As of midnight on December 3, non-Hong Kong residents who have stayed in Sweden within 21 days before landing in Hong Kong are not allowed to enter Hong Kong. Hong Kong residents can enter Hong Kong after having stayed in Sweden if they have been fully vaccinated and hold a recognized vaccination record. All arrivals from Sweden must also undergo 21 days of compulsory quarantine in a designated quarantine hotel.

The changes follow the Hong Kong government's decision to reclassify Sweden to a Group A specified place (High-risk).
